How does it work?

You can begin claiming meals once you have met with us and completed the start-up paperwork, and you have received your license from the Department of Early Learning.

You will need to provide meals that meet the USDA requirements.  You may serve the foods you choose.  We have several menu ideas to get you started.  We will train you on these requirements, and we will provide you with resources to refer to

We will visit you in your home approximately three times a year to review meal service and paperwork, and to discuss serving ideas and nutrition with you.  You may request additional visits at any time.

You will need to document the following by the end of each day by either writing it down or entering it online:

Who - Who was offered the meal or snack? (meal count)

What -  What foods were offered?  (menus)

When - When were the children in attendance?  (in and out times)

It's easy!  And best of all, it only takes a few minutes each day to complete the information.

How do you submit your claim?

Claims must be submitted or mailed by the 5th of each month.

If you are submitting claims via the internet simply select the "submit claim" button on the main screen of the Web Kids Program, and follow the on-screen prompts.  You will only need to mail in printed and signed enrollment forms for any new children in your care.

If you are submitting a written claim you will need to send us a signed meal count sheet, menus (regular and infant if applicable), a copy of your attendance sheets with meals served indicated or a completed monthly attendance sheet, and signed enrollment forms for any newly enrolled children.

When will you get paid?

You will either receive your reimbursement by direct deposit or your paper check will be mailed to you on the last business day of the month in which the claim is due.

You are welcome to call or email us with your questions anytime.  We'd like to  help you receive all of the  reimbursement you are entitled  to.  Please email us or give us a call to let us know when you would like us to meet with you.
